Morris & Co have launched a brand new collection named Pure Morris. The official launch was on 14th July and we were invited to the official reveal and launch of the collection at Chelsea Harbour. The collection consists of 8 wallpaper designs and a collection of 9 exquisite fabrics, most of which were inspired by the monochromatic wallpapers from the archive. The fabrics are created with print, weave and embroidery techniques which are perfect for creating dreamy and enchanting rooms.
The wallpapers were created using an original William Morris technique of crushed glass to create a sparkling effect within some of the prints. One other highlight of seeing the wallpaper collection was the original printing blocks William Morris created himself in 1861.
If you would like to buy any of the fabric or wallpaper from the new collection the books will be with us by the end of July, and if you can't wait that long we already have the samples in our workroom!
