London Design week is like stepping into a glamerous little world of interior designers in the Design Centre at Chelsea harbour. The likes of Mulberry, Arte, Houles, Giorgetti and Marc de Berny showcase their new collections which really are like couture for the home. With 116 showrooms and over 600 international brands it is a great opportunity for Interior designers as well as the general public to be inspired by the latest Spring/Summer colelctions and trends.
The companies use their new fabric collections on furniture, curtains, cushions and throws to showcase what the fabrics will look like when used in a home. What gave me the most inspiration was seeing all the new colours, patterns, prints and textures in situ and looking at how we as a company can use the new trends in our work.
